As part of our Machine Learning Operations Engineering team, you will be deeply involved in DevOps for the domain of machine learning. Machine Learning Ops Engineers are in charge of maintaining and enhancing Machine Learning Models. You will be responsible for testing the models to ensure they are working correctly, leading code optimizations and managing production releases.

As a Lead MLOps Developer , you will lead a team of problem solvers, leveraging emerging cloud technology and services to solve complex business challenges from strategy to execution. Some of professional, technical skills and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to
• Leadership and Development: Take an "always learning" and "coaching" approach to your leadership role. Recruit and develop a highly capable cloud engineering team, providing coaching and fostering an environment where technical professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with your team members and contribute as a technical team lead while participating in multiple concurrent cloud-focused projects. Provide technical and go-to-market leadership focused on asset-driven cloud-based solutions and services.
• Client Engagement: Manage and grow a collection of new and existing client relationships. Develop and propose technical cloud-based solutions to potential customers, including Statements of Work (SOWs). Gather and assess client requirements, translating these into solution requirements and design.
• Architecture and Best Practices: Develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimize clients' cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost models. Lead initiatives to shape the foundation for the cloud engineering practice, refine resource requirements, project workflow, and operating budget requirements.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional team members and senior leadership to define, develop, and implement the strategic direction and focus on emerging enterprise cloud services. Help others think critically and educate non-technical audiences and stakeholders on complex technical solutions both orally and in writing.
• Community Engagement: Be an active member in the technology community, providing thought leadership and mentorship. Share your knowledge and expertise .
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• MLOps Expertise: Proven experience as an MLOps Engineer or ML Platform Developer. Strong proficiency with Vertex AI and Kubeflow pipelines
• Technical Proficiency: Design, develop, and troubleshoot MLOps infrastructure to support the deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning and statistical models. Implement and manage Vertex AI and Kubeflow pipelines to automate model training, validation, and deployment processes. Experience in a technical leadership capacity to implement and scale cloud-based projects with a specific focus on cloud architecture leading practices, application migration, microservices, build and release management, DevOps tools and strategies, integrated security, data and identity management, and cloud technology architectures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate machine learning workflows into the broader technology ecosystem. Optimize and troubleshoot machine learning pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability in production environments
• Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in MLOps and machine learning, especially as it pertains to Vertex AI
• Experience: Relevant years of experience working as an architect or in a related capacity , ideally in finance, retail, telco, government, or public sector organizations. Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture and business applications, project execution, practice management, and an understanding of software development.
• Change Management: Understanding of change management practices including organizational models, roles/responsibilities, and technology tooling and automation. Application modernization strategies and tooling.
• Communication: Solid executive-level communication skills with prior working experience in a consulting environment. Good oral and written communication skills, including developing business presentations, technical writing, and facilitating data-driven options analysis, senior-level stakeholder discussions with an ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business.
• Methodologies: Experience delivering in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies.
