Our Manufacturing group is seeking a Jr. Technologist with an Engineering Technology certificate or diploma.

Responsibilities
  • operating manufacturing equipment including vibration, thermal vaccum and test equipment
  • set up configuration and operation of instron equipment
  • responsible for the test and calibration facility
  • ensuring equipment is calibrated on schedule and arranging for calibration services
  • completing projects on schedule and identifying and sourcing the resources required to complete the project
  • estimating the time and effort required to achieve the project&rsquo s objectives
  • identifying issues and the resulting cost, schedule and technical impact on the task and proposing solutions for recommendations
  • interfacing with a variety of vendors and customers
  • responsible for NASA and IPC training and certification of electronic technicians and QA analysts

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of post graduate work experience in the military or aerospace industry
  • An ability to work in a team and be self motivated is required
  • Experience writing technical report and procedures, along with computer skills, including Microsoft Office are essential.
  • verbal, written communication skills are essential to this position.
