Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Manager, IT Security, this position is responsible for administering and maintaining security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Great Canadian Gaming IT environment, as well as providing backup and support to other Great Canadian IT environments.

Key Accountabilities:
    •Provide training, and communication to employees on IT Security related topics •Assist with identifying company-wide information security needs and collaborate with colleagues and customers to implement solutions •Assist with problem management activities; provide 1st and 2nd level technical support when applicable to security concerns •Research, identify, evaluate and recommend security solutions, standards, and policies and procedures that protect information assets •Audit systems, event logs, and processes; analyzes security-related events in conjunction with the IT Security Policy •Review existing applications periodically; evaluate new applications prior to installation •Implement and administer system and network security controls, including reviewing the configuration of firewall and proxy settings •Develop change requests including implementation, communication, testing and back-out plans •Assist in implementation of Incident Response Plan, in collaboration with other corporate and operational departments •Assist in IT audit responses and implementation of remediation steps based on findings •Identify opportunities and proposes solutions for continuous improvement •Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments •Build strong working relationships with guests and employees and vendors •Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualification Requirements:
    •Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and customer service •Post-secondary education in IT or a suitable combination of education and experience •Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and positive service-oriented communication •Proven experience with AD, group policies, and patching •Proven troubleshooting experience for O/S, application, network, workstation and laptop technologies
