TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) is a division of TD Bank Group and has been providing merchants with a full range of payment processing services and solutions since the initiation of the Canadian credit and debit card market place in 1968. As a trusted business partner, TDMS offers a full range of payment processing solutions and payment innovation for all types of businesses, including some of Canada's largest retailers. TDMS is the only major "Schedule A" Canadian bank that issues debit and credit cards, provides business financing to merchants, and operates a merchant acquiring business. TD's leadership in this area makes us uniquely qualified to assist merchants of all sizes and across all segments.
The Merchant Delivery team is a division within TD Merchant Solutions that manages the Point of Sale inventory supply chain operations, installations and services for all segments. The Merchant Delivery organizations primary mandate is as follows:
  • Deliver on-time, reliable and secure POS equipment to all our merchants
  • Provide best in class experiences through onsite installation and services for the entire merchant lifecycle


Job Description
Reporting to the Asset Manager, the Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for the following key areas:
  • Inventory control accuracy of all POS equipment
  • Coordinate and facilitate quarterly and annual physical inventory audit and reconciliation with all warehouses across the country
  • Weekly, monthly & quarterly reports on inventory status including investigations and analysis
  • Support POS equipment E2E lifecycle management up to the point of physical destruction
  • Establish and Maintain strong working relationships both internal stakeholders and vendors


Requirements
  • Extensive experience of supply chain management, inventory management and logistics operations
  • Ability to dissect large datasets, draw insights, and present recommendations
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations on equipment movements and take steps to ensure timely resolution
  • Demonstrated influencing, negotiation, business acumen and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent documentation skills; understands the importance of organized storage and movement of equipment to maintain audit best practices
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and an ability to deliver within tight timelines
  • Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and be a self-starter that can work well under pressure while handling frequent changes in direction, without losing focus
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to pull data using Access and/or SAS, dissect large datasets, draw insights, and present recommendations
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
