Our Ontario Technology Team is shaping the next generation of secure, integrated, and future-ready digital infrastructure across the province. As a Technology Co-op Student, you'll contribute directly to large-scale security and IT projects that support communities, clients, and the built environment.
This role is based in Thornhill or Toronto, Ontario, with hybrid flexibility.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25 per hour
MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25 per hour
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $21.50 - $30.25 per hour

As a Technology Co-op Student, you'll contribute directly to large-scale security and IT projects that support communities, clients, and the built environment.
This role is based in Thornhill or Toronto, Ontario, with hybrid flexibility.
Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit to support concept design through to construction documentation.
- Review designer markups and translate them into accurate and detailed models.
- Support project phases including Concept Design Narratives, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Tender Review, Project Management, Construction Administration, and Closeout.
- Participate in project meetings to understand design direction, scope, and progress.
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to maintain clash-free models and complete design information.
- Assist designers by providing updates, clarifications, and solutions to technical challenges.
- Interpret and review technical drawings produced using REVIT, AutoCAD, and related tools.
- Collaborate independently or with the broader Building Technologies team across Ontario and nationally.
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit in an academic or project setting.
- A curious, solution-driven mindset and confidence in working independently on assigned tasks.
- Adaptability in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models (e.g., Alliance, DBFM, Design-Build) - an asset.
- Willingness to work core hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) with occasional overtime as needed.
- Ability to attend the office three days per week for collaboration and project engagement.
