What you'll do
- You'll support landfill and aggregate site compliance monitoring programs, including fieldwork and reporting.
- You'll independently complete authorized field assignments and collaborate with technicians, contractors, and multidisciplinary team members.
- You'll collect, document, and manage environmental field data following WSP standards and industry protocols.
- You'll communicate with clients, labs, government partners, and service providers to keep project activities running smoothly.
- You'll assist in producing technical reports - analyzing chemical, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data, and drafting clear, professional deliverables.
- You'll champion safe work practices and ensure full implementation of corporate and client safety programs.
What you'll bring to WSP
- 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience, including fieldwork.
- A degree in environmental, geological, civil engineering, geoscience, or a related discipline.
- Eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo.
- Experience with Ontario environmental regulations (preferred).
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to use your own vehicle for site work.
- Willingness and ability to perform outdoor fieldwork.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.
- Strong on-the-fly problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Pay Transparency
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT - $69,700 - $92,300
MB & ON - $63,600 - $87,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC - $62,900 - $83,600
