Fortinet is looking for a Human Factors Engineer to join a high-performing product engineering team specialized in design and development of enterprise grade security products. They will work closely with project leads, managers and stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and maintain the user experience on our products, programs and services. You will also help contribute to our design processes and build our design systems.

• Designing and building digital interfaces that promote usability and enhance a user's experience • Translating complex tasks and large data sets into intuitive, accessible, and easy to use interfaces • Delivering project artifacts such as prototypes, process flows, journey mapping, wireframes, etc. • Delivering reusable, cross device and responsive prototypes • Collaborating with product managers to inform and plan the products' vision • Collaborating on the development and maintenance of user experience design standards and guidelines • Contributing to the team's growth and development • Advocating for best practices in user experience design and especially interaction design • Providing and soliciting critique from teammates and stakeholders during design phases • Identify opportunities and prioritize areas for improvement to the user experience • Test and validate design direction Job Experience Required:
• 3+ Years of Relevant UX/UI full-time experience designing for web and mobile • Digital design and prototyping tools (ex. Sketch, Adobe CS) • Portfolio demonstrates expertise in both UI/UX product design Educational Requirement:
• Please include your portfolio along with your application • Highly skilled in vector illustration and image editing • Proficient in page layout and document layout skills • Ability to listen and respond well to feedback from other team members and work collaboratively
• Post-secondary degree in Systems Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science specializing in Human Factors / Human Computer Interaction or college/university degree in creative or interactive design (User Experience/User Interface)
