In our highly dynamic, fast-paced environment you will lead, motivate, and develop a high performance team of sales professionals, with a proven track record solving customer business problems with innovative solutions in the public health sector. Your success with our customers contributes to our growth strategies and ensures we lead the market with thought leadership and a premier sales force.Responsibilities:
•Expedite the over achievement of sales and revenue growth objectives by envisioning, devising and implementing a market-leading business plan that uses TELUS proven competencies, methodologies and tools
•Overall accountability for talent management (leading, coaching and development) of a high performing sales team capable of exceeding the goals, objectives and financial targets, leveraging the TELUS Sales Academy and Premier Sales Organisation approach
•Working in a matrix environment, drive the coordination and consolidation of materials required to feed the sales effort while challenging, as required, the inputs received from the organization
•Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by leading the team to drive real and long standing business value and to make TELUS 100% referenceable
•Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on performance metrics for the business in order to facilitate effective business planning, forecasting and resource allocation
•Maintain and develop key alliances with strategic partners and enabling organizations such as the Business Engineering team that drives RFP and RFQ responses
•Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization and uphold the values and behaviours of a senior leader in the business and throughout the extended communityQualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Sales Driver/Execution: Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Deep understanding of the sales process, allowing you to coach a very highly-skilled Team of Sales Executives to success over long sales cycles
•Track record of consistent overachievement in the Public Health space
•Able to translate methodology into results, delivering on standards of Velocity, Quality & Balance
•Ability to create the environment for success and promote superior performance against stretched targets
•Demonstrated leadership skills with extensive experience in building and developing high performance teams within large complex organizations
•Holds team accountable for achieving performance metrics
•Sets high standards for performance, results and behaviours and manages to them
•Strong communicator able to effectively articulate the vision, goals and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback, holding the team accountable for both results and behaviours
•Extensive knowledge of the Public Health sector
•Superlative ability to articulate financial results, build business cases, and understand the customer financial environment
•Strong and effective decision maker, able to review options in a constructive and methodical manner to establish the best course of action for the organization
•Leads, strategizes and roadmaps to success
•Strong use of sales tools and selling methodology to support a differentiated sales experience for customers
•Forge strong relations and partnerships internally and externally to facilitate best practice adoption and results
•Collaborative and effective communicator across teams
•University degree or equivalent experience at a senior level
•Professional Sales certification(s) is a strong asset Required Experience:
•10+ years' successful sales experience in the public health sector
•5 years' experience managing successful sales teams in relationship management
