Deloitte Canada's Marketing team is looking for a Head of Emerging Media. This individual will be responsible for shaping and delivering our content strategy across new and evolving owned properties, starting with our flagship podcast. This leader will ensure that our content resonates with our audiences, delivering bold and memorable experiences that speaks to senior business leaders in Canada in meaningful ways.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Editorial & Content Strategy - Define direction for high-impact content, partnering with key leaders within Deloitte to ensure content meets strategic objectives and will resonate with our key audiences to shape perception of our brand.
  • Podcast & Media Production - Oversee the development and execution of our podcast, ensuring it stands out from the conventional B2B thought leadership.
  • Audience Engagement & Growth - Ensure content reaches the right audiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams and using data-first marketing approach to shape distribution and promotional strategies that maximize reach and engagement.
  • Innovation & Emerging Media - Identify and apply industry trends, explore new formats and channels that align with shifting media consumption habits, keeping Deloitte ahead of the curve.
  • Relationship building & team leadership - Build and maintain relationships with key leaders within Deloitte and externally, including the podcast host, guests and vendors. Mentor and lead junior team member, fostering culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.

You'll join a dynamic Marketing team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a test-and-learn mindset. As Deloitte's marketing function undergoes transformation, we're focused on driving measurable outcomes that grow the brand and the business-while being increasingly bold in our marketing strategies and campaigns, seeking to stand-out and be remembered in a crowded professional services environment. Specific to the Emerging Media team, it's dynamic, fast-paced and cross-functional. Individuals are empowered to adapt quickly, contribute ideas, and pioneer new ways of doing things. Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • 10+ years of experience in digital or traditional media, marketing, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in content strategy, story development, thought leadership; developing and executing innovative campaigns on emerging platforms.
  • Deep understanding of analytics, digital measurement tools, and media performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, project management and leadership skills; excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience advising senior leaders on content strategy alignment with business objectives to drive brand differentiation, and/or in the shaping and execution of interviews as part of podcast production
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
