The Group Benefits Analyst is part of a teamthat compiles, documents and provides accurate, relevant and timely (usuallyfinancial) information from both internal and external sources to clients to support GroupHEALTH products and clientswith non-standard funding or renewal arrangements.
Develop an understanding of whatinformation is available and how to access it from WEBs, CRM and externalsources
Understand basic GH products asthey impact the data the analysis team provides
Gain familiarity with one processthe team handles
Be able to perform one process withlimited involvement from an experienced team member
Gain familiarity with Benestats oranother process that the team handles
Start to understand the variousfunding arrangements used by GroupHEALTH
Take responsibility for oneprocess the team handles
Provide significant support on Benestats(or the other process) to reduce the work required of other team members
Gain familiarity with anotherprocess the team handles
Be fully competent in 3 processes
Provide significant support on twoother processes taking work from other team members

Review and prepare financial statements on an annual, semi-annual and quarterly basis
Analyze and prepare financial information relating to annual renewals for incubator accounts
Produce Benestats and maintain quality control
Cost Plus claims adjudication
Report on drug product rebates and savings for policyholders
Report on claims exceeding stop-loss thresholds and work with carriers and accounting for accurate reimbursement levels to ASO policyholders
Performing other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
3 years of benefit experiencepreferred
Completion of post-secondarydegree
