What will your typical day look like?

Are you passionate about sustainability and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders across the globe? The Global Purpose Office's Sustainability team is looking for an experienced associate to advance Deloitte's ESG data and analysis capabilities across the global organization. This role is within Deloitte Global and will support Deloitte to deliver on its sustainability strategy and WorldClimate goals, including achieving net-zero emissions.

The role is ideal for a professional who wants to advance sustainability through accurate, timely, and technology-driven sustainability and ESG reporting across multiple disciplines (greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, societal impact, volunteering, charitable giving, and many others) within a large global organization.

In this role you will:
  • Support and mature current ESG reporting technology:
    • Work with sustainability and ESG reporting leaders to address ESG impact measurement needs
    • Develop and implement advancements to ESG reporting processes specifically by leveraging technology and AI and social impact goals
  • Support the Global Purpose Office's Sustainability team to successfully deliver the ESG information published annually in the Deloitte Global Impact Report and in other publications:
    • Create guidance for Member Firm stakeholders around the world as ESG reporting needs evolve, and deliver training on the new guidance
    • Perform system administration for and deliver user training on Deloitte's ESG reporting technology platform
    • Oversee enhancements to Deloitte's ESG reporting technology platform and processes, including the use of AI
    • Manage ESG data collection processes
    • Manage ESG data uploads and system interconnectivity
    • Review ESG data and provide recommendations on country-level and global-level goals/KPIs
    • Analyze ESG data and build visualizations to share KPIs with a range of internal and external stakeholders
    • Utilize data to support strategic planning to inform actions to achieve net-zero emissions

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • 4-year bachelor's degree required. BA or BS in one of the following fields preferred: Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, Economics or other technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Superb Excel and SQL skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data to identify exceptions and anomalies
  • Experience in organizing and leading virtual meetings
  • Strong communicator and good listener, with ability to craft clear and effective messages both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated experience (occupational and/or significant volunteer involvement) and/or education in sustainability - environmental or social
  • Interest and ability to work collaboratively across a virtual team and multiple, complex stakeholder divisions
  • Ability to work independently and with advanced creative thinking

Preferred:
  • International experience either personal or professional

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
