Position: | Full-Time Temporary Security Guard
Site: | 315 Queen Mary Rd
Hours: | Continental Rotation - 1900 -0700
Payrate: | $21.00/hour

Note: This a temporary position from ASAP to approximately December 2025.

Job Description:

• Access Control
• Construction site
• Patrolling (interior/exterior)
• Note Taking & Report Writing
• Removal of trespassers
• Verbal de-escalation
• Additional job duties as assigned

Prerequisites:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)
• 6+ months in customer service
• Must Have: Reliable transportation to and from site for shifts
• Applicants with their own vehicle will be given preference
• Previous security experience is considered an asset
• Experience in Industrial or Construction Site security will be preferred
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
• Authorized to work in Canada

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Ontario Security License
First Aid, CPR Level C
