Job Description

About This Role

The Business Banking technology team is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer (Full-Stack; UI focus) to join us, providing technical design and development expertise for the following systems; Business Central, Employee Business Central and Web Business Banking. This role includes involvement in requirements analysis, design, development, process improvements, implementation guidance and mentoring of junior developers.
Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:

•Provide technical leadership within the Business Central Development team
•Advise and provide expert knowledge on the technical feasibility of proposed deliverables.
•Produce design specifications prior to development start - working with the Development Manager, Solution Architect and Product Owner to create elegant solutions and provide technical guidance to the project team - while adhering to TD standards and best practices.
•Deliver in an Agile pod on high-visibility projects and consistently deliver quality work.
•Define development specifications and identify system modifications required to meet objectives.
•Must be a self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results.
•Collaborate with project team to ensure that detailed technical designs are fully understood.
•Liaise with Technical Delivery Lead to provide estimates for new projects and initiatives.
•Ensure a defect-free codebase through unit testing, debugging and participating in peer code reviews.
•Adhere to security coding practices to ensure applications are free of critical vulnerabilities.

Requirements

What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

•Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
•5-7 years experience in UI development, with a focus on Angular.
•5-8 years relevant experience in J2EE, Spring, Java 8, Websphere Application Server, SQL,
•3 - 5 years JSP, HTML, CSS
•Proven Senior Team Lead experience (4 - 6 developers) with customer-facing applications
•Proficiency in cloud technologies
•Experienced in CI/CD - Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven
•3-5 years experience in Enterprise Java development.
•Effective time and task management skills, including the ability to manage concurrent deliverables.
•Creative problem solver with an ability to understand, develop, enhance, and support customized applications.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effectively communicates findings, conceptual ideas, and design rationale.

•Understanding of infrastructure concepts - load balancing, scalability, firewalls, CDN, etc
