The Future of Canada Centre (FCC) is Deloitte's thought leadership and public policy program. We facilitate an exploration of new ideas, viewpoints, and insights about our country's most important national issues. Our goal is to help propel Canada into a new age of growth and competitiveness. The FCC has two intertwined focuses in service of our firm, our clients, and the country. We develop and mobilize original research that provides insights for businesses, governments, organizations, and Canadians on a broad spectrum of topics. And we share public policy perspectives across the firm and develop and advance policy positions on priority issues.
We are currently looking for a Manager, Indigenous Policy & Research to join our dynamic team!

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. What will your typical day look like?
As Manager, Indigenous Policy & Research, you will:
- Support the Future of Canada Centre by bringing Indigenous knowledge and worldviews to help shape the firm's research and public policy priorities in Canada
- Support the implementation of Deloitte's renewed Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) based on the guiding commitments and targets under the pillars of Education, Employment, Inclusion, andEconomic Empowerment, which will include working closely with Deloitte Indigenous leaders and practitioners
- Plan and lead development of Indigenous thought leadership projects and policy analysis, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and policy professionals
- Support the activation and dissemination of FCC Indigenous thought leadership including research reports, policy briefs, webinars, policy dialogues, internal communications, and opportunities forDeloitte leaders to share insights
- Support the execution of the FCC's government relations strategy to enhance the impact and reach of FCC's thought leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners and collaborators, as well as leading mentorship initiatives
- Regularly scan, analyze, and report on key trends and emerging issues, evaluating their policy and business implications and contributing to policy sensing efforts
- Coordinate and collaborate with Deloitte Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders and practitioners at partner organizations and across our global network to deliver timely analysis that supports informed decision-making, strategic discussions and presentations

You are someone who is/has:
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, cultures, and perspectives to ensure Indigenous realities are accurately reflected and advocated for in our work
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to advancing reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in policy development, analysis, and research with a focus on Indigenous topics and thriving within government, think tanks, or related sectors,
- An Undergraduate or Master's degree, preferably in public policy, business, economics, or Indigenous studies
- Exceptional analytical and systematic problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely
- Experience building and maintaining strong professional relationships with diverse team members, leaders, and community groups
- Comfortable working in dynamic and ambiguous environments with competing deadlines and evolving priorities
- A lifelong learner with a growth mindset
- Self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) in Canada
