Thales CAN is looking for a
Finance Manager to join our team in
Toronto. The main purpose of this role is to ensure compliance and accuracy of all financial reporting from Thales North America, with a key focus on the ISIT financial reporting. This role will be responsible for all aspects of ISIT reporting, including the usage of dedicated systems and tools (SAP, POWERBI, ANAPLAN) for the effective reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. This role will also provide leadership and direction to all North America entities to ensure compliance with Thales Group policies and commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Consolidate and analyze the monthly ISIT financials for North America, ultimately presented to the NORAM CIO and Group CIO. This will include workload management and analysis of OPEX and capital expenditures.
- Prepare and analyze the annual Multi-Year-Budget (MYB) for ISIT North America, set up planning and deadlines with the entities, and define and implement additional formats and templates as needed by NORAM and Thales Group management.
- Provide ad hoc financial support and serve as liaison to the Central IT team at Thales Group on various North America ISIT finance and reporting topics.
- Support the cost management for the GTS divestiture, coordinate and consolidate information with the work package managers and GTS team.
- Key contributor to the ISIT and Finance Transformation projects, in alignment with CIO NORAM, CFO NORAM, and Thales Group.
- Support the NORAM Corporate Finance team in consolidating and analyzing the annual MYB for all other support functions.
- Lead through influence: Actively participate in discussions with senior business leaders making convincing arguments that inform decisions. Develop concise and compelling written communications that build the case for change and articulate solutions.
- Cross-functional leadership and capability building: Build and maintain strong relationships inside and outside the organization (NORAM, HQ, else) to ensure strong collaboration, raise the profile of the business and its key projects, and capitalize on emerging CORP opportunities.
- Actively participate in all meetings related to ISIT Finance, and coordinate and complete action plans.
Minimum Requirements:- BA in Accounting and/or Finance with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree in field with 6+ years of experience
- SAP (or equivalent ERP & management reporting system)
- Expertise in all Finance processes and analytical structure (Cost Center, Profit Center, GL)
- Strong experience in extended business worldwide including complex projects configuration
- Shaping solutions out of complexity and making the right choices between short, medium & long term
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Thriving in a high performance finance culture where success is directly linked to delivery of key initiatives and projects
- In-depth knowledge of financial statements and analysis
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively at all times and demonstrating the One Team One Thales philosophy
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of SAP, ANAPLAN
- Knowledge on Thales reporting system Magnitude appreciated incl. interface on GetCtData
- Knowledge of POWER BI highly appreciated
