Supports the effective governance of the Financial Crimes Unit's Supplier Risk Management program-covering cyber security, fraud, physical security, and business continuity. Enables program excellence through the delivery of meaningful reporting, actionable analytics and impeccable execution of key program processes and controls. In addition, the Governance Reporting Analyst contributes to our strategic initiatives, program enhancements, and stakeholder support, including training and advisory services.
  • Executes governance and oversight processes to maintain program integrity, measure performance, and deliver actionable metrics to leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Leads data gathering, analysis and presentation of valuable insights to empower management and internal stakeholders to make informed decisions and drive successful outcomes.
  • Develops and maintains tools, templates, and dashboards that streamline program reporting and enhance transparency.
  • Conducts root cause analyses, collaborates on issue prioritization, and supports the oversight of cross-enterprise supplier remediation plans through to successful closure.
  • Ensures compliance by monitoring program performance and addresses any issues. Oversees exception requests and corresponding approvals.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to internal teams, providing expert guidance on navigating systems and processes within our Supplier Risk Management program.
  • Drives continuous improvement thought periodic process reviews and analysis of program outcomes providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborates on the design and delivery of engaging supplier risk management training and awareness programs that enable teams to manage risk effectively.
  • Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders including line of business governance partners, enterprise supplier risk management program advisors, audit and controls assessment teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Keeps apprised of industry best practices, emerging trends, development opportunities, new approaches to risk and loss mitigation, emerging technology etc.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

  • Qualifications:
  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience, a post-secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, and/or Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Data analytics, visualization, and presentation skills: (Access/ Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) - Expert
  • PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Expert.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
  • Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle - In-depth.
  • Understanding of and problem solving ability for information security issues within their business group - Working.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Salary :

$67,200.00 - $124,200.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
