A career in our Finance Transformation practice, within Consulting services, will provide the opportunity to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize the structure of their finance functions, re-architect Finance processes and implement best-of-breed technology to enable their transformation journey. Join a team of business professionals who work with clients to solve complex problems while utilizing tools to digitally upskill Finance teams. By work with clients to establish and deliver on their transformation roadmap to create value for Finance and beyond. Working in a diverse team, you will help our clients identify process, performance and people and lead the development of meaningful solutions to deliver sustainable change.
Meaningful Work You'll be Part of
As a Manager , in our Enterprise Performance Management Consulting practice you will advise clients on optimizing their consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes. You will help design performance measurements tools as well as implement solutions in leading EPM tools such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM or SAP EPM .
• Engagement Delivery
• Work on challenging and rewarding engagements with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct organizational diagnostics on financial processes
• Define business requirements for the acquisition and application configuration (EPM)
• Conduct analyses in support of process performance measurement and improvement initiatives ( e.g. costing, cost-benefit, benchmarking)
• Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in finance
• Vendor and software selection (including business requirements gathering)
• Lead or participate in organizational diagnostics on financial processes, financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and dashboard
• Engagement Management
• Support the engagement director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics
• Work to define and manage scope and objectives
• Develop and foster relationships with client leaders and stakeholders
• Identify , monitor and help resolve project issues and risks
• Coach and train junior team members on technical and project management aspects of engagement
• Prepare deliverable content
• Review and ensure engagement deliverables meet PwC and client quality expectations
• Business Development
• Participate in aspects of the proposal development process
• Proposal writing and collaboration
• Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Finance Consulting services
• Support the development of \"thought leadership\" and \"point-of-view\" documents
• People Development
• Share knowledge across the global PwC network
• Provide input and guidance into the firm's staffing/resource management process
• Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
• Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• 7-12 years of professional experience (a combination of industry, management consulting and/or software implementation)
• Must have experience in consulting environment
• Hands on experience designing, building and testing leading EPM applications such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM or SAP EPM or other for some or all of the following areas:
• Multi-dimensional data models (dimensions, hierarchies, attributes...)
• Input template and report build
• Data Integration and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) concepts
• Understanding of calcs (allocation, top-down spreading, currencies)
• Workflow, data permissions and Security
• Ideal candidate will be c ertified on one or more of the leading EPM applications
• Working expertise or understanding in the areas of;
• Performance Management - executive dashboards management reporting, planning, budgeting & forecasting, analytics & decision support
• Record-to-Report - financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, and an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
• Extensive experience and knowledge in Financial Management leading practices in process, technology, data, structure and people
• Relevant experience in a managerial role on transformational initiatives, demonstrating knowledge of strategy, operations and technology used to serve their clients and stakeholders
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
• Demonstrated project management skills

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400 . The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres . Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
