We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Director to support Information Technology Services (ITS) across project delivery, business enablement initiatives and ongoing IT operations. This role is suited for a senior QA professional with 15+ years of experience providing quality leadership across diverse technological environments, ensuring consistent quality outcomes from development through production support.
The position focuses on strengthening QA capabilities internally, improving operational stability, and enabling successful delivery of ITS and business-driven initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Director to support Information Technology Services (ITS) across project delivery, business enablement initiatives and ongoing IT operations. This role is suited for a senior QA professional with 15+ years of experience providing quality leadership across diverse technological environments, ensuring consistent quality outcomes from development through production support.
The position focuses on strengthening QA capabilities internally, improving operational stability, and enabling successful delivery of ITS and business-driven initiatives.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities
- Provide QA leadership across ITS project portfolios, business enablement initiatives, and operational support streams
- Oversee QA activities for Development, UAT and Production environments across multiple technology platforms
- Conduct current-state assessments of QA processes, tools and controls across projects and operations
- Identify quality gaps, risks and inefficiencies and implement practical, sustainable improvements
- Design and maintain QA standards, frameworks, templates, and methodologies to ensure consistency across ITS initiatives
- Define and execute test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance and production validation
- Establish release readiness criteria and quality gates for project and business enablement deployments
- Support ITS project lineups by embedding QA practices into technology and business projects from initiation through deployment
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure quality requirements align with business objectives and operational needs
- Provide QA oversight and guidance to IT operations, including incident validation and production assurance
- Provide QA oversight and guidance to Severity 1 and Severity 2 incident response process improvement and execution. Participate in execution of these processes when required.
- Collaborate with operations and service management teams to improve incident prevention and recovery
- Ensure post-incident lessons learned are incorporated into QA processes, test coverage, and automation suites
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing production defects and operational risk
- Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency, coverage and speed across ITS projects and operational testing
- Identify opportunities to introduce process automation and intelligent testing approaches
- Apply QA practices to data platforms, analytics solutions and AI-enabled systems, including data quality validation and model testing
- Support quality assurance for reporting, dashboards and data pipelines used for business decision-making
- Provide QA leadership across a broad range of technologies, including web and mobile applications, APIs, integrations, COTS platforms, cloud services, data platforms and legacy systems
- Support integration-heavy environments involving multiple internal teams and third-party solutions
- Adapt QA approaches to different delivery models, including Agile, DevOps, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies
- Drive adoption of AI-powered testing, cloud-based device farms and next-gen automation frameworks
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within complex ITS environments
- Proven experience supporting projects, business enablement initiatives and IT operations
- Strong background in production support and incident-driven quality improvement (Sev 1 / Sev 2)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement QA standards and operating practices at scale
- Experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA tools
- Exposure to AI, data analytics, and data quality assurance is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to perform under pressure and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
