The Service Reliability Centre is responsible for assuring a premier customer experience and reliability with our world-class network and IT services by leveraging business intelligence, the newest technologies and service operations excellence. Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As the Director of Network Assurance, you're an accomplished senior leader with the drive, passion and business expertise for achieving operational excellence. You'll use these talents to propel TELUS' Incident Management teams (Network Operations Center, Command Center and Event Management) to new levels of performance in core areas such as service reliability, operations efficiency and overall speed to market of services across the enterprise.

    •Build and inspire a diverse group of team members, ensuring that network and IT service reliability and efficiency is at the forefront of all project-related work and day-to-day operations •Proactively mitigate risk to our network and IT services by deploying standardized best practices in incident management, performance monitoring and controls, and manage all planned network and IT service activities across the organization •Mentor our skilled technical talent and drive change leadership as we support the transformation of our network from legacy to cloud-based, future friendly technologies •Champion the delivery of operational excellence, including cost-effective contract operations that are in alignment with TELUS procurement policies and practices •Quickly seize any reliability challenges as opportunities to learn and provide timely solutions through collaboration with stakeholders at various levels across TELUS and externally


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •With your progressive career spanning a minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience in a senior management position, preferably in the telecommunications industry •Distinguished for your success in developing and leading geographically dispersed teams of engaged professionals who identify with a culture of accountability, high performance and collaboration •Acknowledged for your proficiency in assurance processes, your logical troubleshooting and your passion for inspiring innovation and continuous improvement in these areas •Skilled at forging partnerships with various team and at various levels across an organization, as well as maintaining steady, level-headed leadership during incidents •Valued for your natural curiosity and strategic thinking fueled by advanced analytical and problem solving skills •With a knack for effectively driving transformation towards a next generation NOC/SOC that's marketing-driven and customer-centric •Passionate about inspiring innovation and process improvement •Commended for your business and financial acumen •Regarded for your exceptional communication skills, including an ability to drive alignment through compelling storytelling and presentation to an executive audience •With a P.Eng designation and/or advanced University degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science

    •Program or project management certification or experience •Leadership, business communications or organizational change management certification or experience •Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent •Lean Six Sigma certification or experience
