The Delivery and Practice Director role at KPMG is a dynamic and integral position that offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and drive successful project outcomes in our innovative and fast-paced environment. As a Delivery and Practice Lead, you will play a central role in orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, manage project teams across multiple geographies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results in alignment with organizational goals.

What you will do
  • Project Planning and Delivery Strategy : Define project scope, goals, and deliverables along with a detailed project plan, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and client requirements including management of interdependencies with other projects
  • Resource Management : Allocate resources effectively and coordinate across teams to ensure adequate staffing levels and skillsets to meet project needs. Optimize resource allocation and utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Financial Management : Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Monitor project expenses and report on financial performance regularly. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks proactively.
  • Project Monitoring : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and performance. Monitor task assignments to help ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope and to a satisfactory level of quality. Implement "back to plan" measures when progress deviates from plan
  • Project Reporting: G enerate regular reports for senior management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement : Evaluate project processes and methodologies, identifying areas for optimization, implement leading practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and impacted parties are appropriately engaged.
  • Business Development : Take part in business development activities, such as new project estimations, proposal responses and presentation during client orals
What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in business or information technology or project management, with outstanding academic credentials
  • At least 15+ years of experience as a delivery leader, leading multi disciplinary, multi party, complex, cross geography initiatives to implement and support technology ( cloud and On Prem) solutions along with managed services.
  • Experience with large scale end-to-end transformation projects that includes large number of integrations and working with third party application owners.
  • Experience with end-to-end delivery leadership of enterprise solution project(s), such as SAP, Oracle, Workday and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Preferred on Oracle Cloud SaaS ERP and HCM.
  • Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is a definite asset.
  • Prior experience of working in a consulting environment is preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically by seeing the big picture before doing a deep dive for projects.
  • Experience in building and managing a practice within a consulting firm.
  • Exper ienced in bringing multiple teams together and improving coordination and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, able to function independently with minimal supervision and able to multitask in a fast-paced team environment with multiple stakeholder profiles.
  • Demonstrated effective communication (both verbal and written), documentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
