The Wi-Fi Centre of Excellence team will play a crucial role in realizing this future and unlocking value through new consumer and business offerings.

Wi-Fi Centre of Excellence is a dynamic, fast-paced DevOps team responsible for defining technology strategy, design & development, solution optimization, and operation support. We are looking for individuals with positive and proactive attitude, with the grit to tackle service impacting issues and drive E2E troubleshooting analysis to full resolution. You will work with engineering teammates, stakeholders, and vendors on a variety of projects such as Wi-Fi, Small Cell, 5G, Big Data Analytics, Cloud/Virtual Architectural Evolution, Automation Development etc. If you are a problem solver with a passion for technology and you thrive when managing diverse stakeholders, the tightly knit and highly collaborative culture of support in Wi-Fi Centre of Excellence is right for you.

Here's how
    •Architectural and service evolution, network and service integration •Solution design, deployment, optimization and operation support •RFP/RFI, vendor evaluation, negotiations and selection •New technology and service introduction, PoC/lab validation and verification •Issue analysis, troubleshooting, resolution, •Change management and implementation, impact analysis, •Deployment support, capacity planning •Performance analysis and optimization, reporting and monitoring •Leading and coaching Tier 1 & 2 support teams, co-ordinating joint investigations •Security testing/scanning, risk analysis and mitigation, platform hardening/patching •Security/Privacy/Branding analysis, review, and approval •Building and justifying business case


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •5 years of experience working with telecommunications technology •3 years of experience in communications network design/deployment/optimization/operation •Valued for your in depth understanding of Wi-Fi and LTE/HSPA technologies and network architecture •Regarded for your knowledge in IEEE 802.11 and 3GPP protocols and standards •Distinguished for your in depth understanding of radio frequency (RF) propagation, interference, design and optimization •Recognized for your understanding of RAN & MPLS network, IP routing & NAT traversal, 802.1q VLAN, 802.1p QoS •Commended for your familiarity with:
      •Wi-Fi and Small Cell solutions and use cases, VoLTE & Wi-Fi Calling implementations •Architectural evolution & network transformation related to 5G, HetNet, NFV/SDN, MEC •RADIUS/Diameter, AAA, 802.1x authentication, Passpoint/Hotspot2.0, WISPr technologies •Network security, symmetric/asymmetric encryption concept, hashing/salting algorithm, SSL/TLS applications, IPSec/VPN technologies, PKI solution, X.509 requirements, IKE and CMP procedures
    •Passionate about tackling service impacting issues, finding root cause and driving E2E troubleshooting analysis to full resolution •Skilled in presenting, summarizing and translating complex technical information to colleagues, stakeholders, vendors, internal and external customers •Known as a creative problem solver with a customer-first mind set •Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree

    •CWNA/CCNA/CISSP or related certifications/designations •Experience in API design, automation scripting, web development
