Overview:

As part of our pre-sales activity, you will also be responsible to consult with our customers/stakeholders in gathering their business requirements, in order to develop the overall design/proposal.

Please note: Bilingualism (French/English) is a must for this role.

Responsibilities:
    •Be the audio visual SME, supporting our Sales/Implementation teams •Keep well informed of new technologies within the audio visual/video field •Research on products & specialized equipment to design the most suitable solution for our customers


Qualifications:


Required Knowledge:
    •Design an AV system based on customer requirements, including:
      •Create AV schematics of proposed system (VISIO/AutoCaD/Stardraw) •Create a SOW for proposed system •Create a BOM for proposed system •Quote installation and programming professional services
    •Ability to understand architectural, mechanical & electrical drawings •Create solution designs based on RFP requirements, if design not supplied with the RFP •Develop a comprehensive software description •Ability to estimate project timelines •Understanding of QoS, IP in relation to audio visual technologies •Advance knowledge of:
      •Audio (DSP, DANTE, AVB, wireless mics), control, video (DM, XTP, Streaming), video conferencing (Polycom, Cisco, SFB) •In-room scheduling solutions •Video walls
    •Well-versed in infocomm audio/visual standards

Required Skills & Abilities:
    •Strong collaborative skills •Strong interpersonal, oral & written communications & presentation skills •Must be able to manage strict timelines & multiple projects •Provide support to project managers & technical delivery team members •Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams •Highly organized •French is an asset

Required Certifications/Experience:
    •Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) - is preferred •Crestron - is preferred •Biamp - is preferred •Extron - is an asset •Amx - is an asset •Cisco - is an asset •Polycom - is an asset

Required Experience:
    •Minimum 5 years of experience in audio visual design
