What will your typical day look like?

As a part of the Deloitte University North Experience & Operations team your work will mostly include program support:
  • Support senior members of the DU North Experience Team with the co-ordination and execution of complex in-person offerings.
  • Assist with external vendor bookings and contracts.
  • Generate reports through enabling systems and tools, and data-entry.
  • As well as some communications support for DU North more generally:
  • Support management with the internal communications for DU North (ie. registration process, internal web presence, company-wide communications) in keeping the messaging on brand and up-to-date and developing and executing new communication plans.
  • Support continuing improvement efforts in the DU North space and other special projects as needed.

About the team

The Experience Co-Ordinator is a key member of the DU Experience team, helping us to schedule, execute and integrate firmwide learning that has been created by the Development team specifically for Deloitte University North located at the Deloitte office in Toronto. We are a unique corporate learning institution that is rooted in the principles of connectedness and leadership in a highly inclusive learning environment.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone who is/has:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an event co-ordination and/or communication role
  • Sharepoint, JAVA experience an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Cvent or other event management software and Zoom or other virtual meeting software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail while multi-tasking as well as the ability to work independently, under time pressure and deal effectively under stress
  • Flexibility with working hours (possible evenings and weekends)
  • Bi-lingual (French/English), also Spanish, are an asset
