What will your typical day look like?

As a Data and Solutions Architect, you will guide the design, build and integration of information/data architecture with our enterprise solutions for various domains and technologies.
You will establish and maintain adherence to standard enterprise architecture principles and patterns.
Working with the delivery teams, you will enforce standards, best practices and methodologies and enable maturity of data system engineering, quality assurance and analysis.
You will carry out pilots, prototypes or proof of concepts, where applicable, to further capabilities provided by our technology stack and data systems.
You will also produce conceptual and logical diagrams and models for enterprise subject areas.
You will help further define and maintain our enterprise data model and apply it to our solutions.
You will work with the team to innovate and expand our data implementations, capabilities, features and strategic technology roadmap.
You will collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solutions fit and scale into a larger picture. You will interact with Infrastructure, Security and Privacy, Portfolio, Business and IT leadership representatives. You have strong interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to work with nuanced and complex concepts.
You will build relationships with colleagues and business stakeholders to further the strategic vision, implementation, adoption and consistency of technology.

About the team

The Architecture Team builds, maintains and adopts application solutions for the firm. We are part of the larger Solutions Delivery group within Deloitte's ITS Solutions Delivery organization.

You are someone with:

• University degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Demonstrated knowledge of agile project methodology
• 5+ years' experience modelling, designing and architecting secure data solutions
• 5+ years' experience with a programming language (Python, C#, Java)
• 2+ years' experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• Has extensive experience with RDMS (MSSQL and T-SQL) and No-SQL data platforms and systems
• Expert in Azure/AWS/GCP cloud data architectures and platform technologies
• Understands the patterns and concepts of EDW and MDM systems
• Exposure to AI / ML tools and concepts
• Exposure to Spark, Kafka, MapReduce, Analytics tools and technologies
• Experienced in domain-driven-design and data modelling
• Experience with producing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams
• Understands the technology trends of the day and continues to upskill and grow
• Is a strategic thinker and innovator with excellent communication and can work with multiple teams and stakeholders
