At both the business unit and corporate level, we help organizations with organic enterprise growth, pricing and profitability, shareholder value, and sustainable corporate strategies.\n\nWorking at Strategy& as part of the Private Equity and Pensions team will provide you with an opportunity to work with some of the largest and most complex asset owners, asset managers, and alternative asset managers in the world. Our team engages with clients on all strategic and operational aspects of an investment manager to enable our clients to develop winning, sustainable, and impactful strategies. We analyze the critical trends in investments and pension funds and explore new approaches to help our clients make tough choices to grow and sustain their advantages. We provide strategic advice and support to our clients at the portfolio, business unit, and corporate level on organic and inorganic growth, pricing and profitability, cost optimization, margin and shareholder value, operational strategy, digital strategy, culture, and ESG and sustainability.
Purpose-led work you'll be part of

As a Pension & Equity, Strategy& Senior Manager you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading, building and / or participating in a high performing and collaborative Consulting team (advising, mentoring, and supervising all levels of professionals, from Partners to entry-level associates and managers)
• Helping to drive Strategy, Transformation and Capability building for our PE and Pension clients (including large scale Asset Managers), which are their highest priorities
• Consult with clients to understand their strategic imperatives and translate them into a broad range of cross-functional capabilities (including strategy, investment, and back office corporate operations, analytics, technology, ESG and others) that need to be built and deployed to help them win in their competitive arenas
• Establishing and / or supporting the development of strategic policy at the overarching fund, asset class, and functional levels
• Serving as a role model that team members want to follow: empowering others, translating vision into results; proactively developing strategies to accomplish objectives; establishing new relationships, maintaining existing relationships and resolving conflicts
• Managing consulting teams in supporting fund's operating models
• Substantial senior and / or middle management engagement with Pension Funds, Executive Committees, and other related bodies and advisors

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

• Significant experience in a managerial position in or serving a national or international fund or asset manager or comparable professional experience is required
• Knowledge of pension funds and / or asset management obtained through working experience in or with pension funds as clients
• Direct working experience, interest and professional acumen in one or more of the primary pension fund management responsibilities (e.g. strategic planning, investment finance, operations, asset-liability setting, technology, and reporting, and/or ESG)
• Excellent analytical, and innovative skills with knowledge in the administration of pensions or asset management funds to advance objectives
• Proven success managing responsibilities and commitments and delivering outputs within prescribed time, cost, and quality standards
• Capable of identifying strategic issues, opportunities, and risks
• Ability to clearly communicate to senior and junior audience in verbal and written form
• Passionate about inspiring others and conveying enthusiasm about future possibilities
• Willing to provide an environment in which others can talk and act without fear of repercussion; managing in a deliberate and predictable way and treating sensitive or confidential information appropriately
• Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
