Team Overview
The Infrastructure & Solutions team is responsible for defining the target state for key capabilities of the business. The team works closely with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize the "change roadmap" for achieving the target state. The team is also responsible for defining the scope for each of the initiatives in the roadmap, and work closely with technology and architecture teams for solution definition and with delivery team for successful implementation of the change.

Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Solutions, the Core System Manager is responsible for the development and management of a suite of core capabilities and the supporting systems within Merchant solutions. This role will own capabilities the support Sales, Onboarding and Client Servicing teams.
  • Define current and target states for merchant capabilities that enable, Sales, Onboarding and Merchant servicing teams as a part of the overall Target Operating Model (TOM)
  • Own and prioritize the roadmap to achieve the target state for the capabilities
  • Work closely with business owner to ensure benefits for the proposed change are fully documented
  • Provide business and technical leadership for core systems and components
  • Define and oversee execution of the change roadmap for components under management
  • Oversee technology change management and solutions design to ensure changes are aligned with the approved TOM and roadmaps
  • Provide project impact assessments, scoping and high-level business requirements for projects
  • working closely with delivery team project business analysts, business leads and other Core System Managers to ensure successful delivery of roadmap projects
  • Contribute to test strategy and plan as a subject matter expert, ensure adequate test coverage to meet business objectives

Job Requirements:
  • More than 5 years of experience in one or all the following areas
    • Card Payment Industry,
    • Payment Acquirer Business
    • Owning or managing technology solutions that support business customers sales, onboarding and servicing
  • Solid experience in defining the Target State for Core Business Capabilities; owning and delivering the roadmap to achieve the target state
  • Experience in large-scale technical project delivery
  • Software Product Management, Architecture or Business Analysis background a strong asset
  • Knowledge and Experience in Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to develop, influence and maintain strong relationships with internal (business and technology) and external partners
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly beneficial
  • Post-Secondary Diploma Degree
