Job Description & Summary

A career within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation.

Important point to consider

Location flexibility: This role has the option of being based out of our Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver offices.

What you'll create and do

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's HCM or Financial solutions following leading practices of the industry
  • Provide Workday product and implementation expertise to your engagements
  • Work with PwC Canada's clients to understand their business requirements, help configure and test the Workday solution as well as bring your enthusiasm and creativity to deliver high impact
  • Understand customers' business requirements and how they align to Workday functionality
  • Work with your team to configure the Workday solution to meet the customers' financial or HR related and broader business requirements
  • Assist the customer in gathering relevant current system data and helping to convert the data into Workday
  • Help the customer and systems team test the Workday solution
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate customers on the Workday solution Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialization
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network
  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

  • What you'll bring to this role

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Finance or technology background is a plus
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French, written and verbal
  • Understanding of what functional components are core to Finance systems or Understanding of system Implementation and technical support concepts
  • Creation of documentation and training materials
  • Understanding of how to effectively conduct knowledge transfer
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
  • Must have a passion for learning and an obsession about figuring out how things work
