A career within Technology Strategy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations develop strategies that transform their technology capabilities and solve their most critical challenges. We focus on building technology enabled and agile operating models, planning their new enterprise architecture into a differentiating capability system that helps them win in the market, leveraging digital analytics to enhance the customer experience and optimising business operations, and using modern management techniques such as robotic process automation and next generation sourcing strategies to help our clients get fit for growth.
As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:What you'll create and do
Get a chance be part of a new area of growth for PwC
Gain exposure to the full consulting lifecycle from client interactions through to delivery
Conduct requirements gathering workshops and lead the solution design process jointly with customers, partners and MuleSoft experts
Contribute subject matter expertise to effort estimation and SOW development
Articulate recommendations through compelling presentations and architectural blueprint documents to a variety of audiences, including client Business management and experienced IT architects. Lead technical teams through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance
Work with customers to create and influence proper standards for development, governance and operational life cycle
Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures
Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base; mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions. Provide constructive feedback and requirements towards the product team
Mentor and train the internal team on design and architecture best practices.
Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence
Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & digital integration services by leading internal work groups and design sessions with clients and across the firm
What you'll bring
A n interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a systems analyst or related capacity
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services or similar (IBM, Dell Boomi, Tibco, Apigee, etc.).
Understanding of the API life cycle, solution architecture, technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts
Good understanding of integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, Pub / Sub etc. including Event Driven Architecture.
Technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML, REST based APIs, GraphQL, etc.
Testing suites like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI is a must
Experience delivering in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies
Analytical and conceptual skills
Good oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and developing business presentations and power user training materials
Ability to solve problems spanning multiple environments in a business area
