Position Summary

We are looking for a Client Service Associate, Registered Plans Administrator with polished interpersonal skills to join our growing Client Services Team. 

Do you have a strong client service mindset and continually seek to find creative solutions to address client needs?

Do you have a strong administrative background and in-depth knowledge of the administrative requirements of the financial industry?

Have you executed on requests related to registered plan products and have a good understanding of the requirements associated with registered plan transactions?

As a Client Service Associate, Registered Plans Administrator you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Advisory Team and our high net worth clients. In this role, you are a member of a collaborative and client-focused team requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills in order to provide a high level of administrative service to our clients. Using your in-depth knowledge of registered plan products, you will execute on the overall administration of our clients registered plans. Using your industry knowledge and excellent relationship management skills you are able to deliver exceptional service to our advisors and clients.

As Client Service Associate, Registered Plans Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the Advisory Team to provide administrative expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service.
  • Execute on administrative processing of requests such as contributions, withdrawals, de-registrations.
  • Work directly with clients to complete necessary documentation in order to make changes to beneficiaries.
  • Review and confirm accuracy of posted transactions, validating tax calculations.
  • Liaise with our custodian to execute on client requests in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Provide back up support to other team members as necessary.
  • Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

As a Client Service Associate, Registered Plans Administrator, your skills and qualifications will include:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of client facing experience within the financial services industry, with exposure to both front and back office.
  • An undergraduate degree or a related financial services designation is an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word and experience with a CRM database.
  • Superior customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accurate.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently.
  • Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong organization, time management and prioritization skills with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary.
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a minimum of a valid work permit.
