Site: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC)

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 0700-1500

Job Description:

The site supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security Guards assigned to all areas belonging to their facility. Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of CMCC and the Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach

• Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed

• Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly

• Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.

• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public

• Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.

• Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person

• Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client's staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.

Prerequisites:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario

• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider

• Vulnerable Sector Check

• English (oral/written) fluency is a must

• Previous experience in Security Supervisor or Team Lead

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Ontario Security License
Minimum of 1 year security experience
