Within the Procurement Transformation team, one of our key responsibilities is supporting technologies and processes.
As a Business Systems Analyst II, you will be motivated and challenged by leveraging our incumbent technologies, including those related to spend management, contracting, and spend visualization, ensuring their use and functionality is maximized. You will display leadership and innovation as an integral game changer in developing relationships with core technology providers, including SAP, and help drive our technology road map towards 2020.Here's how
•Building relationships with members of the Procurement & Supply Chain team
•Design innovative strategies to discover and execute upon savings opportunities for our organization
•Ensuring that day-to-day support of the tools is available and queries and issues are resolved promptly, with a high level of service
•Running training & knowledge sharing sessions with team members so they can optimise use of the tools and technologies
•Working in collaboration with key strategic partners to drive our technology roadmap
•Seeking innovative new technologies and potential initiatives that will promote best practices and drive incremental opportunities, and present their potential for TELUS to senior stakeholders
•Supporting and implementing the design of a strategic, collaborative technology roadmap
•Maintaining robust project plans and ensuring all deliverables are met or exceeded
•Ensure our offshore service team are able to resolve first touch technology queries and effectively manage technology solutions
•Performing Database Management & Administration of the key support tools and work closely with tool vendors
•Proactively identify system and data errors, areas of opportunities, and undertake corrective actions to ensure high data confidence and integrity Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Advanced project planning and execution skills related to Information Technology (IT) & non-IT projects
•Ability to translate ambiguous business problems & issues into structured solutions
•Solid understanding of Procurement, purchasing and/or strategic sourcing processes
•Knowledge of Procurement tools and technology, including SAP, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba modules related to e-Sourcing, Catalog Management, Contract Lifecycle Management and Spend Visualization & Reciprocity
•Strong cross-functional team management and facilitation skills, with both internal & external stakeholders, with ability to lead cross-functional teams towards desired outcomes
•Ability to maintain perspective and confidence in face of difficult issues, tight deadlines and client expectations
•Superior quantitative and analytical skills; statistics knowledge and experience is desirable
•Understanding and experience in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools: Ariba, Microsoft (MS) Excel, SAP, etc
•Ability to create unique solutions to extract, manage and/or analyze data to support decision making
•Ability to work effectively with all levels within a large, fast-paced, multi-project, complex environment
•Strong organizational & time management skills
•Excellent verbal & written English communication skills
•Attention to detail
•High degree of business ethics & accountability
•Leading through influence skills
•Team player & "can do" attitude
•Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint skills
•3-5 years of equivalent experience
•Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce or Computer Science Great-to-haves
•MS Access & Macros knowledge
•Certifications in Data Management & Data Science
