Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Processing and electronic filing of all client documentation in order to meet client service and compliance requirements.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly preparation, delivery and tracking of client reporting.
  • Assisting in the process of client account opening, closing and maintaining current client information on the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Promptly respond to internal and external client e-mail and telephone queries.
  • Supporting the team with process improvement and change management initiatives on our product roadmap.
  • Leading ad-hoc generation of high-quality reports and dashboards and data analysis initiatives to support CRM users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Supporting ongoing data hygiene and data enhancement efforts for internal CRM platform by creating and maintaining reports.

Requirements the successful candidate must have:
  • Be able to work independently and in a team environment, on multiple tasks
  • Possess excellent communications skills, both written and oral
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet multiple deadlines and prioritize activities
  • Exhibit particularly strong attention to detail along with exceptional time management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships across teams and other areas of the firm
  • Must be results-oriented and dedicated to high standards
  • Ability to take initiative and employ critical thinking
  • Able to adapt quickly to change and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Have a university degree and the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or other relevant financial industry courses/industry experience
  • A desire to continuously learn and improve, particularly related to industry and investment knowledge.
  • Preference for more advanced users in MS Office Suite, principally with manipulating data in Excel including pivot tables and macros.
  • Working knowledge of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform (e.g. Salesforce) would be a strong asset
  • Exhibit a keen interest in and knowledge of the Canadian investment management industry; knowledge of the Canadian pension industry is an asset
  • VBA, SQL and Access experience/knowledge would be an asset Assigned Line of Business
