What you can expect do here:
- The BIM Subject Matter Experts for Buildings or Corridors need to be experienced in providing advice on best practices and providing technical solutions to real-world BIM/CAD design issues.
- Be adept in the utilization of software tools such as OpenRail, OpenRoads, OpenTunnel, OpenBridge, Civil3D, Revit, and Dynamo where required to drive the development and implementation of discipline-specific templates/component catalogs/families aligned to program BIM processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Provide best practice for design in BIM, scripting for automation, Subassembly / Template development for model / drawing creation, and metadata population.
- Lead the development of integrated corridor modelling.
- Communicate with necessary support teams to develop creative answers and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide insight and expertise on BIM processes, procedures, and requirements to project team members, including BIM Discipline Champions.
- Work with BIM Discipline Champions to develop BIM/CAD design processes, procedures, and methodologies that are efficient and scalable to large scale design teams.
- Troubleshoots BIM-related issues and/or coordinate support.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- 10+ Years experience in BIM and Digital Delivery Management is a requirement
- Degree in Engineering or Architecture would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge or accreditation of ISO 19650 is an advantage.
- Good command of Autodesk products, including Autocad, Revit, Civil 3D, ACC and Navisworks
- Good command of Bentley OpenX products, including OpenRail, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, OpenTunnels, ProjectWise and iTwin
- Good command of Whole-Life-Cycle Digital Twins
- Good command of 4D, 5D and 6D (Carbon tracking)
