The Opportunity:
WSP is excited to offer a new opportunity for an Intermediate BIM Specialist to join our Water/Wastewater Vertical team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Revit/Plant 3D/CAD to contribute to project work from conceptual design through to completion. As part of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will also coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts across the entire project lifecycle.

What you can expect to do here:
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the BIM Manager, Design Lead, and Project Managers to develop comprehensive construction document packages using Revit and CAD.
- Drive BIM Model Production: Lead the production and development of BIM models for Process Mechanical, Building Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and other engineering designs, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Ensure Design Integrity: Perform clash detection using ACC, Konekt, Autodesk Navisworks, or similar software to maintain the integrity and accuracy of designs.
- Innovate with Revit: Utilize Revit to create parametric families and other necessary content, while also conducting volume and material calculations for precise cost estimates.
- Adhere to Standards: Follow Client and WSP BIM/CAD standards and guidelines, contributing to project milestones and ensuring that designs meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Proficient in Revit, CAD, and ACC Workflow: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Revit, CAD, and ACC for efficient project execution.
- BIM/VDC Software Support: Extensive experience in the AEC field, specializing in production and coordination using BIM/VDC software.
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
- Infrastructure Project Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
- Parametric Design Skills: Proficient in parametric design using tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper.
- Valuable Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of MicroStation and Civil 3D is a significant asset.
