•The Canada Acceleration Centre (CAC) services all Canadian time zones, therefore business hours will vary, and overtime is required.
Purpose-led work you'll be part ofAs a Bilingual Tax Administrative Coordinator, you will oversee a team of Bilingual Administrative Specialists who support the Tax compliance process throughout the year in a variety of functions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Guiding a team of Admin. Specialists within the Canada Acceleration Centre (CAC), with a focus on ensuring high-quality deliverables and acting as a trusted liaison between the Local Office Tax Practice
•Monitoring team productivity and performance, providing clear expectations on output and quality
•Escalate/Communicate challenges and/or issues with recommended resolution to CAC French Compliance Manager
•Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge to complete assignments and review team's work for accuracy and completeness
•Respond to low to moderately complex work issues identified by local office, escalating to French Team Manager as required
•Seek opportunities to build technical expertise for you and your team; embrace increasingly more challenging work assignments and cross training opportunities, leverage experienced staff/subject matter experts
•Coordinate and facilitate team huddles and meetings
•Participate in the selection, placement and training of new staff members
•Develop, assess and evaluate Employee performance, conduct performance reviews
•Create and foster a cohesive team and promote a positive work environment
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve•Strong technical background and broad based tax administration skills as a result prior tax compliance experience
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
•Highly organized and have the ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines when required
•Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things
•Ability to identify problems and recommend possible solutions
•Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and management skills
