Some of what you will do
As the Bilingual Sr Learning Solutions Facilitator, you will cater to both Staples Professional and Staples Canada, and be responsible for delivering a wide variety of learning solutions with the goal of ensuring effective, impactful and measurable learning experiences. Through engaging workshops and presentations using a variety of learning activities, you will support the growth of learners' business skills, competencies and leadership capabilities. In addition, you will research and implement new ways to deliver and facilitate to provide high quality deliveries to the modern learner. Contributing to an exceptional development and learning journey experience, each day will be challenging, rewarding and meaningful.

Specifically, you will:

• Facilitates interactive virtual and in-person learning solutions for small and large audiences
• Performs effective planning and preparation of sessions to ensure success including understanding the business learning needs, the audience, alignment to learning outcomes by determining appropriate learning techniques, and engaging with key stakeholders
• Demonstrates advanced facilitation techniques leading workshops to deliver quality content both virtually and face to face in same physical space. Creates a positive learning environment for experiential learning that engages learners, fosters and assesses learning through the use of various learning tools and methods.
• Facilitates a wide variety of programs including functional, sales programs and leadership development as part of the Staples learning journey
• Conducts and supports train-the-trainer sessions; provides facilitation guidance and feedback to support internal leaders who facilitate
• Collaborates on and supports development of learning programs including research, content design of learning materials, presentations, guidebooks, job aids and other post-delivery resources to foster and sustain learning transfer
• Uses Kirkpatrick evaluation methods to provide analysis and recommendations based on program metrics in relation to defined learning objectives, including reporting on program impact, effectiveness data and learner experience feedback to stakeholders

Some of what you need

• 5-8 years of experience in Learning & Development, delivering and facilitating formal learning to all levels
• Solid experience delivering leadership and sales training to new and senior audiences
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in the area of: Adult Learning, Performance Consulting or Human resources
• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, oral and written
• Bilingual (EN and FR)
• Advanced level skill in MS Office tools - MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Expertise using virtual training platforms and tools (MS Teams, Zoom)
