Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As part of the TELUS Cyber Security DevOps National Delivery team you will showcase your outstanding business, consulting/relationship skills, advanced technical & strategic security knowledge as you:
    •Lead advisory projects supported by highly skilled technical team members while developing and maintaining proven and trusted advisor customer relationships
    •As a strategic thinker and technology influencer, create security roadmaps and technical design plans to advance the security posture/goals of our clients based on their respective risk appetite, driving business value via the recommendation of TELUS Security products and services.
    •Lead post sales in detailed planning, designing and coordinating of security solutions upgrades or migrations with the help of the project management team. This includes enabling adoption of various security concepts like SSL inspection (e.g. certificates, end user impact, risks, selective inspection policy, exception handling, etc.), but also taking into consideration existing Network Security solutions, Private/Public and hybrid clouds, Internet of Things and Mobile solutions.

As a customer-focused security professional, you will:
    •Assist TELUS customers in security risk management in order to help manage their risks
    •Extract & analyze client requirements and provide custom advice related to industry standards and best practices
    •Analyze complex problems, develop and deploy conceptual and creative solutions aligned with TELUS security portfolios
    •Perform technical and Security Compliance Assessments
    •Provide guidance and recommendations for security controls (business & technical)
    •Create detailed roadmaps & professional design documentation for customers
    •Work on multiple projects concurrently, manage time effectively, and require minimal supervision in the execution of projects
    •Assist with pre-sales activities such as client meetings, project scoping and proposal support
    •Help improve TELUS overall security solutions & capabilities through innovative ideas and approaches

    •Ability to be a natural leader with Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; able to build and foster client collaboration and become a trusted security client advisor at all levels of client organizations
    •Ability to demonstrate solution benefits from both a technical, operational and financial perspective
    •Experience leading and facilitating: workshops, whiteboard discussions, technology roadmaps, and consulting conversations with customers
    •Ability to analyze complex problems and discuss in a simple, logical and thoughtful manner
    •Proven track record in effectively working and leveraging cross-functional resources in an organization to lead an initiative or technical solution
    •Your innate ability to disambiguate the gray areas and de-escalate challenging situations
    •Ability to formulate solutions in a complex technology and business environment
    •One or more industry-recognized certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF etc.)
    •Knowledge & Experience with industry standards such as ISO 27001/2, NIST, COBIT, PCI-DSS, etc
    •Technical understanding across multiple-solution portfolios such as: Security, Cloud, Telecommunications, Mobility, Unified Communications and IT Hosting Solutions
    •Illustrate a strong background (knowledge and experience) with network security technology, including, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, host security, application firewalls, web filtering, transport layer security, IPSec, authentication and access management systems
    •Demonstrate experience in data security and encryption, application security, cloud security, public key infrastructure, identity and privilege management infrastructure
    •Awareness of carrier-grade network services provisioning such as IP/MPLS, broadband, wifi access and mobile technologies (3G, LTE toward 5G)
    •Strong understanding of IP network architecture and technologies, protocols and routing
    •Experience working with complex client environments
    •Exceptional skills in written and verbal communications
    •Ability to lead, guide and mentor our internal team members
    •Solid Experience as an information security consultant
    •10+ years in Information Technology, with at least 8+ years in security
    •6+ years performing Security architecture and Design
    •University degree in a related discipline
    •Have or ability to obtain & maintain a Canadian secret security clearance or higher
    •Bilingual French/English
    •2 or more security certifications such as.

Great-to-haves
    •Security certifications (e.g. SABSA, CISSP, CEH, CISA, CISM, SCF, SCP)
    •Security vendor certifications (e.g. PCNSE, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE Security, etc.)
    •Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
    •Project management experience
    •Experience with SCADA and SOX compliance projects
