Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in hearing evaluations, diagnostics, fitting hearing aids, and conducting various auditory tests, including DPOAEs, AEP, OAE, and vestibular testing.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostics.
- Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids for patients.
- Perform Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs), Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP), and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) tests.
- Vestibular testing, (VNG’s, O-Vemp, C-Vemp)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote hearing health.
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D)
- Licensed to practice audiology in the Canada.
- Experience conducting a wide range of auditory tests and diagnostics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Spanish to communicate with a diverse patient population.
