Department Overview

TD Wealth Advice which is comprised of TD Wealth Financial Planning and TD Wealth Private Wealth Management (PWM) is focused on the delivery of legendary client experiences to Mass Affluent, High-Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

This is delivered through an integrated team of professional advisors across, Financial Planning, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, TD Family Office, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Insurance, and Wealth Advisory Services. As a member of the National Office Marketing Strategy Team the Associate Marketing Manager - Social Media & Advisor Marketing Support will report to the Senior Group Manager. This role will also work closely with Associate Marketing Managers, Marketing Associate along with key partners within TD Wealth Advice. This individual will contribute to towards the development and execution of marketing initiatives supporting overall business strategies.

The objective of the role will be developing and facilitating the execution of the social media strategy to support a salesforce of wealth professionals across TD Wealth Advice. Key accountabilities will include development and execution of a roadmap to support social media sustainment and adoption, deliver ongoing education, and support advisors as a Marketing subject matter expert.

Job Description

• Build and execute a social media strategy that focuses on sustainment, and adoption supporting advisors and leaders across the Wealth Advice businesses
• A solid understanding of how various social media channels work in support of the growth of an advisors' practice
• Ability to develop and optimize content for advisors to leverage to ensure it remains engaging on social channels
• Development and delivery of education to support the elevation of an advisor knowledge when it comes to the use of social media for business purposes.
• Creation of a social selling program for advisors focused on leveraging social media to grow their practice
• Develop key metrics and KPIs to measure success of the social media program
• Maintain and oversee key vendor relationship in support the social media program including regular touch points and uncovering program opportunities.
• Working closely with advisors supporting their various marketing efforts taking a consultative approach assisting in the growth of their practice. Including but not limited to social media marketing.
• Lead approval process for regulatory oversight on any newly developed marketing tactics to ensure key control partners are engaged including but not limited to legal, and compliance.
• Responsible for managing the development of creative supporting advisor marketing working closely with the internal creative services team and maintaining brand standards.
• Ensure key accountable initiatives are internally communicated in a coordinated and consistent manner.
• Responsible for supporting the Marketing Strategy Team overall in any marketing related initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in a marketing capacity, social media marketing, digital media or similar role
• Expertise in social media platforms and how content can be effectively used
• Ability to tell a story in a compelling and convincing manner to an audience
• Excellent consulting, presentation, writing and communication skills
• Highly motivated collaborative individual, self-starter, takes ownership, team player who is receptive to feedback and quickly adapts to change
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint a requirement
• A desire to learn and consistently apply marketing brand standards across multiple applications
• Project management skills and attention to detail: Ability to meet deadlines - strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, and priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with TD Wealth, Wealth Management, Financial Planning and best practices in marketing/digital is an asset
• Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
