The Credit Analytics Group (CAG) is part of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). This role will support strategic initiatives and projects that impact Corporate Banking teams globally, with a specific focus on Credit360, a new credit adjudication platform.

  • Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge;
  • Supports the business on a range of project and policy items that impact Corporate Banking;
  • Supports Corporate Banking by investigating business issues tied to Credit360, escalating issues to the appropriate users or liaising with all stakeholders and downstream users of data;
  • Supports the Banks data requirements by addressing any exposure linking or data clean up exercises in Credit360 or other systems impacting Corporate Banking;
  • Providing ad hoc support across the Credit Analytics team and/or Corporate and Investment Banking Business Strategy team;
  • Responsible for arranging all Credit360 training and ensuring materials are updated as required;
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions;
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk; and
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce or STEM;
  • CPA or, Masters or MBA considered an asset;
  • Solid understanding of Corporate Banking and related data;
  • Very proficient with Excel;
  • Ability to multitask and manage numerous priorities; and
  • Knowledge of the systems impacting Corporate Banking:
    • Credit360
    • RO
    • CreditLens
    • Salesforce Tier1
    • CRS
