Job Description
WSP is looking for a Junior to Intermediate Archaeologist or Anthropologist with a focus on technical writing. Vancouver-based is preferred, but other locations in British Columbia will be considered.

Salary range: $64,300 to $88,400
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. What you can expect to do here:
- Cultural heritage advisory services to regional, national and international clients.
- Contribute to archaeological assessment reports (overview assessments, impact assessments, and related studies), environmental impact statements, cultural heritage policy documents.
- Project permitting and regulatory support.
- Engagement and relationship building with Indigenous communities.
- Position is primarily office-based, but some travel and field work may be required.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- An Archaeology or Anthropology undergraduate degree (or nearing completion). Other social sciences degrees will be considered.
- Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultures of southwestern British Columbia, gained through education, lived experience, or professional work.
- Ability to work both independently and part of a diverse team.
- A willingness and passion for working with Indigenous groups and communities.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software.
- Detail and result oriented mindset.
- Robust analytical skills, with the ability to assess data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
- Valid driver's license (Class 5).
