We have two immediate openings for full-time and permanent lead drivers.

Intelcom experience will be prioritized above all other qualifications.

This position requires you to have your own cargo van to use for work. The warehouse is in Scarborough in the Milliken area.

In addition to the deliveries, lead drivers assist in the driver training and coordinate with dispatch to manage rescues and solve driver issues. Pay for these duties is in addition to the delivery pay.

Deliveries are in and near Toronto but in one zone each day, not all over the place.

Typical km/day is 50-200. 6 am - 7 am start time, 7-10 hour days.

Shifts are available every day of the week for both part-time and full-time. Drivers must be able to take and complete downtown Toronto routes some days.

A typical day with a van, full load, is 150-200 stops ~$300-$400/day. Routes close to Station (7-7.5 hours) pay less than routes further out, (8.5-10 hours) but closer routes get done quicker. Load times will be 6 am - 7 am
That works out to $35-$40 per hour typically.
Plus bonuses during the Peak season.
Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
White, Black or Grey cargo vans can earn an additional $220/month for having branding wrap.

Requirements:

Safety Vest (Class 2), and Hard-toes Shoes/boots. (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road)
Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season)
Must provide a vehicle for the work. (Must be a minivan or Cargo van)
Can safely get in and out of your vehicle multiple times a day.
Have a smartphone with a data plan.
Relatively clean driver abstract.
No DUI/DWI or suspensions within five previous years.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred:

1+ year of courier experience in the Toronto/Scarborough area, preferably downtown.
Intelcom experience in either delivery or dispatch.
Team lead / management experience.
Customer service background.
A can-do attitude.
Time management skills.
