Job Description

MDA provides Sabre-based airline hosting and tasking infrastructure, training and operational airline support to DND&rsquo s YF airline operations. This position focuses on customer service to DND and YF operations. It includes daily interaction with the airline operations and the DND customer, testing software efficiencies, providing training and troubleshooting using Sabre Products.

Primary Activities:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Performing daily flight reconciliations
  • Providing daily airline operations services support to the customer and to YF operations
  • Tailoring training courses, as well as developing training materials
  • Delivery of training for airline operations services
  • Testing and assessing updated airline software releases
  • Technical documentation preparation and review
  • Interacting with Sabre for troubleshooting, product analysis and feedback

Candidate Profile:
  • Travel Industry Diploma
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Sabre products, particular experience in Native Sabre
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proven ability to communicate and provide customer service in airline operations support
  • Proven experience Microsoft Office Suites, specifically MS Word.
  • Ability to provide Sabre technical support to offsite locations for resolution of workflow
  • Possess excellent leadership, communication an strong interpersonal skills, enjoying working extensively with customers, partners and project team members, building effective and lasting relationships.
  • Ability to work as a team member yet efficiently function with low levels of supervision

Desirable:
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate
  • Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
  • Experience with software testing
  • Training experience in the travel industry

Comments/Special Considerations :

Candidate must hold or be eligible to obtain Level II Security Clearance

Travel will be required with this project on an as needed/required basis.
